In the case that "CM_limiting_stat > z(end)" it is incorrect to report a pValue of 0. Instead it should be reported that p is less than .001

Good function! Why does the help documentation show a 4th input argument "tail" that isn't accepted by the function?

Great function! I use it often. I have one suggestion though, the length of the change log makes calling help on the file completely useless. To prevent the change log from showing up during a call to help add a single un-commented empty line between the copyright information and the changelog.

Well done! a couple of suggestions for improvement:

1. make the axes to also look hand drawn by overwriting them with your "cartoonify_line"...

2. Add the Humor-Sans font, that is available from http://xkcdsucks.blogspot.com/2009/03/xkcdsucks-is-proud-to-present-humor.html
