Recorded webinar by Dr. Eniko T. Enikov (University of Arizona). From the webinar description: "In this webinar we demonstrate the use of a novel low‐cost experimental apparatus for use in a typical undergraduate course in control systems. The setup consists of a small DC motor attached to a pendulum rod and driving a miniature propeller. Angular position of the rod is measured by a potentiometer attached to its pivot point. A simple module created using MATLAB and Simulink reads the angle and sends command signals to the motor. The module is based on Real‐Time Windows Target and allows a sampling rate of 200Hz." |
